A great local Irish pub with a large selection of beer on tap. Locals seem to be friendly. The food was above average. If your in Hornell, NY from my experience this is the best your going to get.
Great atmosphere, awesome customer service. Husband's burger was great, fries were great for us both. My only complaint is that the chicken in the cordon blue wrap was nothing but hard pieces of burnt chicken tender pieces. Other than the wrap it was great. I will just make sure to get the burger next time.
Always good food, can't go wrong with a pig cow wrap or grilled reuben. Just about anything on the menu is good. Constantly changing beer selection is great too!
The cook doesn't really know what well done means and the food is a little bland. But the staff is always friendly and attentive. I wish the prices were a little lower but they are about on par with most small restaurants. They make excellent mixed drinks.
We came here by recommendation that the food is good. But we were amazed by the beer selection available. They have many delicious draughts on tap and from what I hear, every time one keg runs out, a different one gets brought in, making this an ever-rotating place for excellent beer. I found out about the Mug club, for which you pay a flat yearly fee for discounted beer. Too bad all of the mugs are taken! I would keep my eye open for the next open mug. :-) Other than the good beer and rotating selections, the food is quite excellent too, I think I have had something different every time I have gone, from salads to sandwiches to burgers, I have yet to find something I don't like. This has become a regular place of visit for us, and why not!
